Advanced scoring

Score every lead against your eligibility rules, and contact the best ones first.

Without it, a campaign works through your list in the order the leads were found. With it, every lead is scored against the eligibility rules in your playbook and the highest-scoring are contacted first.

It changes the order, never the list. Nobody is dropped. A low score means later, not never.

Advanced scoring is Quickstart's name for lead scoring: the same scores, turned on from a different place.

What it is scored against

The eligibility rules in your playbook — written from the description you gave when you built it. "Tech startup founders in Canada with headcount under 50" becomes the bar, and each lead is measured against it.

So the quality of the scoring follows the quality of that description. Vague in, vague out.

What it costs

About 2.5 credits per lead, charged when the list is scored. Each lead also uses one LinkedIn profile lookup from the daily pool your outreach draws on, so a large list scores over several days.

50125 credits
100250 credits
300750 credits

The exact rate comes from your plan, and the quickstart step shows the real figure for the list you are about to build before you switch it on.

Turning it on

It is off by default deliberately. It costs credits, and a first campaign is usually better spent on testing whether the messaging works at all.

When it is worth it

Worth it when your list is much larger than what you can contact in a day, and your eligibility rules are specific enough to separate a good lead from a passable one. Reaching the best 50 of 300 first is the whole point.

Not worth it when your list is small enough to get through in a few days — order barely matters — or when your eligibility rules are loose, in which case most leads score alike and you have paid for an ordering that is close to the one you already had.

Reading the result

A scored campaign sends in score order. Every lead gets a score from 0 to 100 with a breakdown of the criteria behind it: 70 and above is a strong fit, 40 to 69 a possible one, under 40 a weak one. Nobody is rejected; a weak fit is contacted later, not dropped. See Lead scoring for reading scores and rescoring.
